It's been fun, but everything that begins also ends, and we decided this month to end AConsciousPlace.com.

Membership sign-ups had slowed over the past year, and participation in forums, blogs, etc. was also pretty sparse.

After all, Facebook has become the place most of us connect, having taken center stage in social networking in the years since ACP was created on the ning.com platform... So it makes sense to retire the site and move our collective time and attention on to the many other ways we've all come to engage each other on and off line.
